In the morning of your afternoon appointment, only take half of your insulin dose. Stick to your usual medication schedule for all other prescriptions.
Preparation for Insulin Pump Users
Switch off your insulin pump two hours before your treatment. If you have a morning appointment, refrain from eating breakfast. Turn on your insulin pump immediately after completing your treatment.
